T618 Treadmill

The treadmill itself seems well built, runs well and looks like it will last. I do think the display is a little dated though. It uses what seems like a 1980's LCD display. The screen is plenty big enough but the characters it uses are so big that several displays have to switch back and forth to show various things (such as heart rate and calories burnt). It seems to me there is plenty of room to show all data at once. And speaking of heart rate, the chest band doesn't work worth a darn. I've tried everything: new battery, wearing it tighter or looser, moving it up or down my chest. Nothing works. I would say it works for about a third of the time I use it. The directions are odd too. It says to wet the grooved electrode areas. I've tried that. It doesn't help. So is it saying unless you pour sweat out of your chest, the monitor won't work? I guess. This machine is probably due for an update.

Was happy to have my treadmill delivered and assembled. Works well. Sometimes it ticks but not loud enough to bother me . Had all the features I need!

I bought this treadmill on a recommendation from a triathlete friend (I am most certainly not a triathlete). I also checked out the reviews on Consumer Reports. I am very happy to report that my family and I are very pleased with the T618, and the value and service we received from Northern Fitness was outstanding. Delivery was scheduled quickly, the team arrived on time and brought the machine right into my home where I wanted it. Just a tip if you elect to assemble it yourself: it can be done solo, but leave yourself at least 2+ hours and make sure it’s where you want it. Moving it around the same floor is totally doable, but moving it upstairs or through doorways will require strong friends to help.

I would definitely recommend this treadmill and Northern Fitness!

Is a solid product, that works well without the frills that other more expensive products have ( internet, videos, training programs, etc) but engine is powerful, it feels extremely solid. It is not a Tesla, it is a truck.
