Love This Rack!!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
i absolutely love this rack!!! i bought one and now need 4 more for my private gym. it's currently out of the budget but i fully plan to outfit our gym with as much rep equipment as possible. This rack has been a game changer in being able to train multiple clients at once and them not getting in the way of each other. also if you have a small space, you can do so much with just this rack.

Altitude rack + Smith Machine
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
machine itself is overall good.
some parts not great some parts excellent.
altitude rack by itself was incredibly wobbly. like it wasn't a rectangle (when viewed from front) and turning into a parallelogram from the front even with bolts tightened down. (I had a speed square, level, and the correct tools)
Adding the smith machine made it a lot more stable. wobbles in a normal way now which is fine (when viewed from front its no longer warping from rectangle to parallelogram). As all the yt vidos say there's no other way to describe the smith machine other than "smooth" feels great. im 5"7 so not super tall but can easily do full standing OBP with 90" in rack with room to spare.
Low rating is for customer service response or lack of one. My altitude rack arrived on a Monday mid-day. It came w/ no hardware (bolts/nuts etc) to put it together (okay mistakes happen), which rep knew of by that afternoon. I get the notification at like 11pm on Wednesday that replacement parts have been shipped. However they were shipped by UPS ground saver, not even UPS ground... original delivery date was next week Wednesday. So on the 9th day after receiving rack I would get the hardware that should come with it.
I messaged rep about this, it wasn't the nicest message but no profanity either. Mainly pointing out what I'm pointing out now that I would expect more from a company like REP to ship replacement parts not to take a week via UPS ground saver. Maybe if it was a very large/bulky...

Tight on space or budget for a full Ares 2.0? This is the ONE
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
I have less than a full 1-car garage at my disposal, so fitting a big 6-post Ares 2.0 build was never an option. The Altitude is perfect if you need a smaller footprint, or have a smaller budget. Being able to get a 6-post rack with a buttery smooth functional trainer and the best smith in the industry at just over $3k is an absolute bargain. REP really brought all their engineering knowledge and experience into this build. There are numerous clever touches, like the adder weights or how the measurement tolerances are just right so that it's compact, but nothing ever bumps into each other.
I saw someone complaining about the internal space for barbell use due to the smith. Sure, the smith eats up some of the internal depth, but I squat and bench inside this rack and have never hit anything, even if I had to bail out. If you can't squat or bench inside the Altitude without hitting something, you're having balance issues and need to rebuild your technique with dumbbells or lower loads.
I can't speak highly enough about the Altitude. REP really pulled off a magic trick here, getting the best of an Ares 2.0 build into this price and size. I think of it as the "Ares 2.0 Lite" or "Ares 1.5".

Great Rack - Very Happy with the Altitude!
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
I have started lifting again after a (very) long break, and was looking for a high quality rack that suited my needs and also offered value and expandability. I researched a ton of racks for a long time, and kept coming back to REP's PR-5000 and the Altitude. I really like the PR-5000, but I am not throwing a ton of weight around and have limited space so the great value of the Altitude stood out as it starts out as a 6 post with weight horns, flip down safeties, and sandwich j-cups at a great price. Plus, while not as ultra customizable as the PR-5000, the Altitude offers quality cable and smith systems you can add later which are both compelling to me so I pulled the trigger on the Altitude.
I am glad I did! I have had it for about a month, and I am very pleased with the Altitude. The finish is very good, shipping was quick, the instructions were clear, and the feel and look of it makes me smile every time I work out. I really appreciate the increased safety I feel lifting solo, and bonuses like the weight storage and anchor points for bands to stretch out tight shoulders etc. is helping me lift smarter. I am looking forward to probably going with the cable attachment next, and the leg roller. I am also looking forward to the other attachments that are coming out. Thank you, REP!

Outstanding equipment
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
I had a bit of a hard time assembling the top beam due to the awkward angle. But outside of that, assembly was a breeze and the machine itself is worth every dollar.

Functional Cable Trainer is Extremely Versatile
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Installation of the functional altitude cable trainer is easy provided you "milk" (i.e., lay straight) the cables for at least two days prior to installing them. The number and variety of cable exercises is numerous and definitely targets specific muscle group development. The altitude cable functional trainer is outstanding and well worth the investment. The Rep quality goes without saying. Kudos Rep for another fantastic design. Highly recommend the altitude functional trainer.

Rock solid rack for my needs
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
After a few months of searching for the perfect rack and ecosystem I decided on the Altitude series from Rep. I ordered the rack, the functional trainer and the smith attachment. Shipping was prompt, the stuff arrived in a sturdy wooden crate and on a double width pallet without issue. I am not mechanically inclined and the included instructions were easy to follow and covered everything they needed to. I built the Altitude over the course of a weekend and got a good workout in the process. The rig looks sharp and is a joy to use, the pulleys are smooth, the trolleys are smooth, everything is SOLID.
I had one minor issue with a piece of the rack and wow, was I blown away by REPs customer service. They really do live up to the hype.
If you're looking for a compact all in one machine with a smaller footprint, great build quality and amazing support behind it look no further than the Rep Altitude.

Expectations utterly exceeded
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
This was my second purchase from Rep. the first being the AB-3000 2. 0 FID.
I had a PR-5000 in my cart for weeks. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price and also knowing it was overkill for my needs. After weeks of research and contemplation I knew I wanted a rack from Rep. The quality of the bench I purchased reinforced this fact.
The evening I went to purchase I saw the altitude rack on the homepage. The fact it included weight storage, safety bars, J hooks, and multi-grip pull-up bar for the price was what made the deal for me. I did have some fear of buyers remorse, because I was not getting the crème de la crème. The minute I had this thing put together those fears were alleviated.
Sturdiness: 9. 5/10. Very little wobble when doing strict pull-ups. For practical purposes it is a 10/10, but seeing as it can wobble at all, it gets a 9. 5.
Fit and finish: 9/10. 0 problems putting this together. I am a handy individual but don’t expect May to have trouble with this. I’m deducting 1 point due to a few minor scuffs. This is completely expected when shipping hundreds of lbs across the country.
Quality: 10/10 without a doubt. This is by far the nicest rack I’ve ever used. I’ve been lifting fo 20 years. The weights glide off the storage bars. The protection on the J hooks is so pleasing. Things I never considered would make such a difference. I have not tested the safety bars yet (thankfully) but moving those, again, is pleasing. It all just operates like...
