Return & Refund Policy

The Northern Fitness Return and Cancellation Policy

Our policy ensures a fair and consistent approach for all our customers. It covers returns, exchanges, and cancellations for various items, including regularly stocked in-home items, wearables, and financed orders.

Return Eligibility

  • Eligible Items: Regularly stocked in-home items in original packaging.
  • Ineligible Items: Special ordered items and products purchased for commercial spaces.

Return Period

  • The return policy is valid for 30 days starting from the day your items are picked up or received.

Affirm Financing

  • Orders financed through Affirm: These orders are not eligible for refunds. However, they are subject to the same return policy for store credit or exchanges.

Cancellation Policy for Unfulfilled Orders

  • Orders not yet fulfilled can be cancelled without any penalty. Contact us at info@northernfitness.ca to cancel an order.

Wearables Policy

  • Wearables include apparel, shoes, and fitness accessories like weighted vests, ankle weights, heart rate monitors, etc.
  • Returns for wearables: We do not accept returns for any wearables if they have been worn or used.

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees, based on the condition of the product, are as follows:

  • Unused and unopened items = 0%
  • Open box = 10%
  • Used or assembled = 15%
 *Please be advised the original packaging is required, irrespective of its condition.

Return Process 

To submit a return request, click on the profile icon in the store navigation.

1. Log in to your account:

  • In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue".
  • In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  • Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

5. Click "Submit request".

If your return request is approved, you receive an email with further instructions. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

Damages and Issues

  • Inspect your order upon reception and immediately report any defects, damages, or incorrect items to us for prompt resolution.

Exchanges

  • For exchanges, return your item first. After acceptance, you may make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

  • Refund process: We will inform you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Note: Refund processing times vary depending on your bank or credit card company.
