RumbleRoller Extra Firm - Black
If you're like most athletes, your muscular tightness is beyond what a conventional foam roller can cure. Using harder rollers or PVC pipe isn't enough, because their inflexible surfaces don't work well around bones nor get close enough to muscle attachments. You need more advanced tools that go deeper into the muscle to confront the origin of your pain.
RumbleRoller's patented massage tools incorporate the perfect mix of shape, firmness, and resiliency. Their effectiveness is legendary, as is their durability and our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. If you're serious about feeling and performing better, you owe it to yourself to try RumbleRoller.
Extremely firm (about 36% firmer than Original), and only recommended for experienced users with especially dense muscle tissue that doesn't respond to normal massage pressure. This model does dig deeper into thicker muscles, but may be too painful to use on some body parts.
RumbleRollers are available in three different sizes, and all have the same feel due to their identical bump size and spacing.
Before buying your RumbleRoller, consider how and where it will be used. If your roller will be kept at one location such as your home or gym, buy the longest one you can afford. Its extra length will allow you to do more types of movements and transition more easily between movements. If you travel with your roller, choose one that's small enough to pack and carry.

With very firm but flexible bumps, this model comes closest to mimicking thumb pressure. Great for all body parts, and works better around bony areas. Recommended for both beginners and experienced users.

Beastie Bar - Extra Firm
With a perfect combination of bump placement, size, firmness, and flexibility, the Beastie overcomes the limitations of other massage balls. It's an excellent addition to any deep-tissue tool set.
For most mobility work, a roller is your best choice. However, there are three great reasons to grab a Beastie:
The Beastie Bar contains two Beasties permanently mounted, but free to rotate, on a rigid fiberglass shaft. Both the Beastie and Beastie Bar have the same effect on muscle. Choose the Beastie for ultimate portability and to work into the smallest areas of your body. Choose the Beastie Bar if you prefer its 2-hand control.
Both Beastie and Beastie Bar are available in 2 firmness options. Original (clear) is firm but still flexible. Xfirm (green) is extremely firm, similar to a lacrosse ball.
The best choice depends on both your sensitivity to pain and your method of use. For example, if you're using the Beastie on the floor and putting your full weight on it, we recommend the Original version. If you're using the Beastie against a wall, you'll be applying much lower forces to it, and will probably respond better to the Xfirm.
Some versions of the Beastie are packaged with a detachable base that snaps on and off the Beastie. The base elevates the Beastie and prevents it from rolling, which enables both greater intensity and new techniques.
Likewise, some versions of the Beastie Bar are packaged with a pair of detachable stands. The stands elevate the Beastie Bar off the floor and enable hands-free use.
