X22i Treadmill

Its my first treadmill and it's like being on a gym one. I love it!

I bought this treadmill for the 40% incline because I don't know year to year if I will be hiking or running depending on my health. Usually, it takes me a month or two in the spring to find my hiking legs but I am excited to be mountain ready as soon as the snow melts with the help of my x22i. Ifit makes my workout feel like play. I find myself doing a second workout just because it is so fun and I love being able to join the trainers as they take me through some of the most beautiful trails in the world.

I've only had it for a month so I can't speak on the longevity but I am so glad I bought it. I am enjoying it so much I convinced my sister to buy the newer version (x24). Ifit is expensive but imo it is worth it. I have hated treadmills in the past and would opt for running in the cold on icy roads instead. My nordictrack x22i has changed that for me, mainly because of the ifit program. The treadmill adjusts my speed and incline automatically, allowing me to lose myself in the experience and "enjoy the ride".

Northern Fitness was great to deal with and I have recommended them to my friends and family, even though I live in Alberta.

I just did my speed training in the sacred Valley of Peru..what more can you ask for?

After three weeks I'm still amazed at this equipment. Very smooth, good cushion, decent controls, and very solid feel.

It is a very large box and the pieces are very heavy. Two people recommended for the assembly. Videos detailing the assembly were easy to follow. This is my fourth treadmill assembly and it was the easiest by far.

Using the treadmill by way of the iFit software is straight forward and great for a runner/hiker looking for interesting/unique workouts. Using the treadmill in "manual" mode for more advanced training is still more difficult than it should be. So far I have yet to find a way to 'pre-program' a workout into commands that are just executed. But even having to make speed/incline adjustments manually I have done some of the most intense indoor workouts of my life.
