They look awesome in the home gym, very durable. Eurethrane coating is awesome, will last forever. Highly recommend these weight plates

The plates are too thick. The 25s are thicker than the 45s. Not what I was looking for. Overpriced. Otherwise they are serviceable.

Greasy plates!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Plates are overall very good, but a few concerns that I think could help future buyers - first, while thee holes allow for lots of ways to grab the plates, please note that these plates are still pretty thick and so for those people that have small hands, it's still a bit hard to pick them up, especially with one hand. Second, i was more than annoyed that these plates arrived with some type of chemical film or covering on them that makes these plates VERY slippery. After picking up, I noticed the residue was still on my hands, which remained slippery. Felt like i had put a light coating of WD-40 on my hands! I'm hopeful that if I wipe all of these plates down they won't be as slippery b/c right now, I think it would be too easy to drop these plates with sweaty hands when they are greasy like this.
