The handlebar is removable and fairly easy to take off, although it’s not a quick release — you’ll need to unscrew both sides. It adds a real sense of stability and makes the rebounder feel much safer. I leave it on most of the time, but it’s great to have the option to remove it when I need to move the rebounder out of the room. I’d absolutely buy it again — it’s so much better than trying to hold onto a chair or the edge of a wall bed, which just isn’t safe.
