decent quality. It's solid at 45 pounds. Not quite professional quality but the craftsmanship is fine. The 2" sleeves are polished which is odd. Pro bars usually have ribs to prevent slipping. I would buy something different next time.

Great!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Well made, super grippy knurling on the handles, no complaints.

Just heads up if you’re super strong and using big bumper plates it might be worth going for the bigger size, there’s only space for a few bumpers.

Good one-time investment for home gym

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

The hex bar actually more safe than straight bar for deadlift, eliminate the risk of low back spine and more natural motion for the deadlift exercise. I bought the olympic straight bar first for starting strength method, though slowly moved over to hex bar and dumbbells to avoid injuries. I think barbell heavy lifting could only safe either join a dedicated strength gym or paying for a personal coach. Otherwise, hex bar and dumbbells with functional training is a better way to go.

71" Olympic Hex Bar Review

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Great bar and great alternative to conventional deadlifts. The increased quad stimulation will help carry over to your squat. Knurling is deep enough so no need for straps. The only possible downside for some could be the spacing of the handles so it's not a one size fits all piece of equipment. The closer the handles are to the body the better it is and you won't wreck your shoulders. Highly recommend this bar as long as it fits your build.
