  • Dimensions 12.5″L x 7″W x 7.25″H
  • Urethane coated steel plates provide smooth and quiet performance.
  • The open draft of the interior surface maximizes the range of motion and increases ergonomics with the contoured rubber grip.
  • The 'Auto-Lock' lever on the handle is a simple way to make micro adjustments in 2.5 lbs. increments by removing two chrome ballast weights within the lower tubes. To remove the inner weights tilt the handle back so the weights don't spill out, then pull the lever down. Carefully remove the inner weights and put them in the storage slots on the stand. Then drop the handle back in the weight stack to close the lever, or do it manually. To add the weights back into the handle reverse the process.
  • The color bands on the rails correspond with the weight chart on the handle to show what will be selected.
  • This is how the magic happens! Adjust weights quickly to keep workouts flowing by using the pin to select different rails. For example, moving the pin to the bottom selects all the weight plates. The pin is super strong polypropylene and rated for a 500lbs. max load. Magnets inside the pin hold it securely once inserted completely.

Awkward shape for some exercise, great otherwise!

Pros:

- Seem sturdy

- Lots of weight increments

- Size adapts to weight

- Shipping came fast

Cons:

- Awkward/ dangerous for skull crushers (no real grip when holding both dumbbells together)

- Awkward for two hands triceps pullover / other two hands pullover. (No space in the case to fit both hands and get the right pull angle. You can flip the dumbbell and hold it by the two circular columns, but I get scared of breaking em as I didn't see any official "do or don't" with.

- No 2.5, 12.5, 22.5, 32.5, 42.5 and so on. Some lifting increments may be harder, but not the end of the world.

All in all, probably should've tried the newer Snode ad80 before purchasing this, but time will tell of I made the right decision !

Love my PowerBlocks

Super practical dumbbells for my home gym. Sturdy, easy to use, very fast to switch weights. Pricey to expand all the way to 90 lb each, but now that they're mine, it's a solved problem. I'd get them again.

Great!

There are quite a few well-respected reviews on these so I'm not going to echo what they all said. Not the best for Goblet squats (yes there are videos online that explain how you can do Goblet squats with these but personally never worked for me) but besides that and the rare specific exercise that are awkward to do due to unique shape, I am very happy with them!

Best there is.

These are great. I wasn’t sure they would be comfortable when looking at pictures before I purchased. They are fantastic.

Good for lower weights, not so much at the 60-90 lbs range

If you don't plan on lifting 60-90 lbs in each arm these are fine. At higher weights (with the expansion packs) they get so bulky that your arms are forced apart when benching them and this makes the movements not possible to do properly.

In short, good for most purposes but if you're planning to go heavy you're better off skipping on the expansions and just get normal dumbbells.
