Description
The REP® Smith Machine Rack Attachment adds smooth, vertical guidance to your lifts, and it has a compact design to minimize interference with your racks functionality. You no longer need a costly, space-consuming, stand-alone Smith machine typically found only in commercial gyms. Now you can integrate this compact Smith machine attachment directly onto your current PR-5000 power cage (80" & 93" upright height options), providing the best all-in-one gym solution at home.
Features
- MODULARITY: REP leads the way with a truly modular design, a rack-attached Smith machine that can be bolted inside or outside of your PR-4000 or PR-5000 rack, giving you the flexibility to configure your training space exactly how you want. Unlike bulky, standalone units, this attachment transforms your rack into an all-in-one solution, combining functionality, space savings, and cost efficiency.
- ENHANCED RANGE OF MOTION: Lift freely with confidence. Optimized guide rail height and thicker rods deliver smooth, stable travel. With 19 bar levels on 93” racks and 16 on 80” racks, REP gives you more setup options than most home gym Smith machine competitors. When paired with low-profile safeties, the REP® Smith Machine Rack Attachment delivers maximum range of motion, from floor-based movements to overhead presses, helping you train deeper, safer, and more effectively.
- +5°, 0°, or -5° Angles: Fine-tune your setup with choose from a range of angles from –5 to +5 degree bar path options to better match your body’s natural movement patterns across different lifts. These adjustable angles help optimize form, improve muscle activation, and reduce joint strain for a more natural lifting experience. Whether you prefer a slightly forward tilt for presses, a neutral setup for squats, or a backward angle for rows, the REP® Smith Machine lets you tailor your bar path to your training goals, bringing biomechanics and performance into perfect alignment.
- ENGINEERED FOR STRENGTH: Every detail is engineered for durability and performance, right down to how the bar rests. The composite-lined bar hooks eliminate metal-on-metal contact, preventing scratches, wear, and unwanted noise over time. Designed to keep your equipment performing and looking like new, rep after rep.
- WEIGHT CAPACITY: Built for strength that goes the distance. This compact Smith machine attachment features a 450 lb weight capacity and robust, commercial-grade construction. A high-capacity design that performs under heavy loads, perfect for both serious home gym setups and commercial training environments. Whether you’re pushing for PRs or training clients, this Smith machine is engineered to keep up with your progress for years to come.
- SMOOTH PERFORMANCE: High-quality bearings create a near-frictionless glide for every lift. Engineered for precision and consistency, a buttery-smooth bar travel enhances control, confidence, and overall training comfort. Combined with the smooth rotation of the bar, each rep feels balanced and responsive, whether you’re pressing, squatting, or isolating muscle groups.
- 15KG BAR WEIGHT: Perfect your form before piling on the plates. With a light 15kg starting weight, the REP® Smith Machine lets you focus on technique, control, and proper muscle engagement without the strain of a heavy bar. Ideal for beginners learning new movements or advanced lifters refining precision work, this lighter starting point makes setup effortless while ensuring every rep builds a stronger foundation.
- ATTACHMENT ECOSYSTEM: Prepare for an evolving workout experience. The REP® Smith Machine is more than just a standalone attachment. It’s the foundation of a growing ecosystem of future attachments designed to integrate with your rack setup. As new accessories roll out, your Smith machine will continue to expand in capability and versatility, unlocking new ways to train, customize, and optimize your workouts. Every addition will fit perfectly into REP’s modular design philosophy, giving you the best system that grows with your goals.
