This vest fits well but will not hold 40lbs, the pockets are not big or wide enough! 2.5lbs x 4 at the most! Maybe smaller and heavier weights are available or possible? I’ll be looking around!

Great addition to ironmaster equipment

Vest has nice wide shoulder pads, so the weight doesn't dig into your skin. I use the vest for weighted pullups and I find the shoulder straps still don't get in the way. These are strict pullups though, so I am not sure how it would feel for a more high-rep dynamic movement like butterfly pullups.
