Good product but poorly packaged for shipping quite a few scratches in the finish also there is no actual bearings on this bar also just a solid shaft which I personally don't mind

Great value compared to other open bars

Great value based on the sale price at time of purchase. Easy assembly. Overall the bar is durable and seems good so far. Can't give 5 stars due to several cosmetic scratches on bar components. Could be avoided with better packaging. Ultimately won't affect the bar's performance but it's still disappointing for something that could be prevented.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting an open deadlift bar with some specialty features that won't break the bank. Considering the price, this bar presents exceptional value as the design allows for a number of movements in addition to deadlifts.
As others have mentioned, the packaging is sparse. That said the customer service offered by NF more than makes up for any shipping mishaps you might encounter.

Very nice trap bar...

Very nice trap bar - basically the same as Rep but maybe missing a few high end touches like the quality of the paint job. I wish the handles were a little closer together - and maybe an option for shorter sleeves to make it easier to store. Overall, very functional and good quality at a great price point

Great trap bar. But why didnt the manufacturer just weld the handles and the grip.. When it gets heavy the grip on the handles can slip and turn even if u have the bolts pretty tight. I just went and have them welded so that no chance of spinning.

Not bad, But quality control and packaging need improvement

The bar itself is OK. It is basically a lower quality copy of the Rep open trap bar.
If the pricing is similar, definitely go for Rep. But if the difference is significant, then the Orion bar may be acceptable.

The good: Versatile, Sturdy design, good knurling on handles, rackable, Jack feet work well, and the bar doesn’t tip when only one side has a weight plate. It is comfortable to use and doesn’t feel uneven or uncomfortable.

The bad: The bar was received with some aesthetic damage and missing hardware as a result of inadequate packaging, which I have seen in other reviews as well.
The knurling on the “camber bar” area is inconsistent and almost non existent in some spots.
The bar doesn’t not remain balanced when in position for Trap bar Deadlifts (not a big deal, but is a concern for some people).
It is large and can be awkward to store if you are limited on space.
If quality control was to improve, I think this would be a good buy, but with the issues above, only if it’s at a discounted price.

Barbell itself seems great. The product is solid, the sleeves have a huge loadable length compared to some competitors, the handles feel good. Note that the sleeves are pipes, they don’t rotate.

The packaging is atrocious. Basically all of the components are tossed loosely in a thin cardboard box. The box arrived wirh multiple rips and holes in it and parts of the bar exposed and scratched up, either from grinding on things outside the box or from the loose parts in the box smashing around. The part that holds the hardware was also ripped open and 5 of the washers are missing, presumably having fallen out of the box tears en route.

A 5/5 product for the price, but points off for the entirely inadequate packing.

Solid piece of equipment. Competitively priced with other high end bars. Assembly is simple and quick. I train for strongman so this will definitely hold alot of weight. I also have their strongman log and its on point too.
