Docking a star because it's a 44lb bar, not 45lb, since it's metric 20kg then labeled in imperial as 44lbs on the end cap, and the page for this says 20kg/45lb. Other than that it's a solid bar. I've used some lower weight capacity bars at gyms and noticed that many of them start bending at about half of their weight capacity. So I spent a bit more over the standard 700lb capacity bars for this one so it's not wiggling around as much when I go for a 400lb+ squat, and I can confirm that this bar only started bend a bit when I put 5 plates on each side (450lbs), but came back to perfectly straight when I took it off. It comes covered in some kind of oil to protect it from rusting during shipping, so get some disposable towels to wipe it off as you take it out of its package, and don't use paper towels because they'll get shredded by the knurling.
